The Sardonyx cameo carved with the Emperor's head in profile to the right, his laurel wreath and cloak about his shoulders set with diamonds and rose-cut diamonds, the cloth secured by a clasp with the initial N, the frame composed of two entwined serpents with blue enamel detail, with diamond-set laurel spray surmount, suspension loop, first half of the 19th Century, 5cm. overall height
